助剂是油漆中不可缺少的组成，稀释剂也是助剂中的一种。在环氧地坪漆中常用的助剂有分散剂、消泡剂、流平剂、流变剂，还有防静电、防滑、消光等功能性助剂。在环氧地坪漆中常见的弊病主要有缩孔、针孔、橘皮、失光、缩变和发笑，由于分散不好而导致的发花和浮色，颜色不均，由于未流平而导致表面不均等问题。这些问题常常需要适当的助剂来消除。

地坪漆中稀释剂的份量一般是5%～15%，不宜超过地坪漆重量的20%。若超过20%，会使地坪漆过稀(粘度过小)，涂装时容易产生流淌、露底的毛病。又因地坪漆漆膜薄会降低地坪漆漆膜的性能
