Waterborne epoxy floor paint uses water as solvent. It has small odor, non-flammable, convenient storage, transportation and use, and meets the requirements of environmental protection. It can effectively solve the foaming problem of common floor paint coatings on wet ground. Construction conditions of waterborne epoxy floor paint: 1. Base surface cleaning. Waterborne epoxy floor paint requires high cleanliness of the base surface, so it is necessary to clean up the surface of sand, oil and other impurities. 2. Base condition. Waterborne floor paint construction requires that the ground is hard and flat, and the drop within 2m is not more than 3mm. If the original ground is terrazzo, ceramic tile and other smooth base materials, it needs to be first groomed. 3. Construction temperature and humidity. When water-borne epoxy floor paint is applied, the floor can be constructed without obvious leakage or black fading of the new cement floor. The relative humidity of construction site should be less than 85%, and the temperature should be above 10 C.
Waterborne epoxy floor paint construction precautions:
1. Material use. Primers and topcoats of waterborne epoxy floor paints should be used up within a specified time. Once they exceed that time period, the paint should not be diluted with water and reused.
2. Environment. Construction is not recommended when the temperature is below 10 C or on rainy days.
3. Use drying tools. The rollers and brushes used in the construction of waterborne epoxy floor paint need no clear water. Short hair roller is recommended.
4. Control the amount of water added. Excessive amount of water added to waterborne epoxy floor paint will cause Scratch resistance, gloss and other properties to decline.
